The rugged cast aluminum housing reverses for hand-held or test stand use. Push-button selection of tension and compression measurements in pounds, kilograms and Newtons. User programmable features include: unit selection, operational modes and analog/digital filtering. While both gauges share many of the same features, the BG has additional capabilities including; RS232 interface, Mitutoyo output and programmable analog outputs, digital filtering, setpoints and external trigger modes.
